Private equity & multi-entity
Revenue analytics
One revenue record across every entity, with retention and bridge reporting defined once. The board gets one set of numbers, and it can ask questions of them directly.
Who this is for. CFO, head of FP&A, and the board member who keeps getting different answers to the same question.
The problem today
Revenue, churn and retention are calculated differently in every spreadsheet that touches them. Sales measures bookings, finance measures recognized revenue, the board was shown a third number last quarter, and reconciling the three takes longer than producing any of them.
In a multi-entity group the problem multiplies. The same customer appears under different names in different ledgers, so revenue by customer is an estimate and retention is a guess presented with confidence.
What we deliver
One revenue record across entities
Customers resolved to single entities, revenue recognized consistently, and currency handled once. Every downstream number reads from this record.
Retention and growth metrics defined once
Net revenue retention, gross retention and last twelve month comparisons, with the definition written down and applied the same way each period. Agreed with you before anything is built.
Revenue bridges that explain the change
New, expansion, contraction, churn and price, so a movement in the total comes with its own explanation instead of prompting a week of investigation.
Dashboards your team can use without asking
Self-serve views for finance, sales leadership and the board, reading from the one record so the numbers agree wherever you look at them.
An analyst agent on the same record
Ask a question in plain language and get an answer with the supporting figures attached. The agent can only answer from the record, which is what makes the answer checkable.
What agents do, and what your team approves
What the agents do
Agents refresh the record, recalculate the metrics, build the bridges, and answer questions by querying the record and showing their working.
What they never do
Metric definitions are changed only by agreement with your finance team, and the agent cites the figures behind every answer so your team can check it before anyone repeats it to the board.

From past work
What we have built
We built revenue waterfall and retention reporting with last twelve month comparisons for a multi-entity company, replacing a set of spreadsheets that disagreed with each other.
Questions we get
How do you define net revenue retention and churn?
We propose a definition, you agree it, and then it does not drift. There is no universal right answer, which is exactly why writing yours down matters more than picking the market standard. What we will not do is let two definitions coexist.
Can the board ask questions directly?
Yes, through the analyst agent, and every answer comes with the numbers behind it. We recommend finance sees the agent's answers for the first period or two, so trust is earned before the board relies on it.
How often does it refresh?
As often as your source systems update, which for most groups means daily. The constraint is almost never the refresh, it is how quickly entities post.
What if sales and finance will not agree on a number?
Then you have a definition problem rather than a reporting problem, and we will say so. We can report both and label them clearly, but we will not quietly pick one and let the board assume it is the other.
