Private equity & multi-entity

Every acquired company on one set of books.

A platform grows by buying companies. Each one arrives with its own ledger, its own chart of accounts and its own version of a customer list. We bring them onto one record, then put agents on the repeating work so the group close stops depending on heroics.

Each acquisition, then one group record, then you sign it. Several ledgers merge into one. A person signs it off.NewCoNetSuiteExcelGROUPSIGNEDOne set of books. Each acquisitionOne group recordYou sign it

What we see in this sector

The pattern is the same at almost every platform we see. The first acquisition was absorbed by hand because there was only one. By the fourth, the group consolidation lives in a workbook that one person maintains, the board pack is rebuilt from scratch every month, and nobody can answer a question about revenue without opening three files.

Agents can take most of that work, but only once the record underneath is real. So we start with the record: one chart of accounts, one customer master, history loaded and tied out. Then agents run the close, refresh the pack and answer questions from the same numbers the controller signs.

How we work

Most companies bolt AI onto systems designed for people, then ask people to check the AI’s work. We design the record around agents and put your team in charge of running and governing them. Five steps: read the books, design for agents, ship agents in shadow mode against today’s results, train your operators, then run and improve.
