Onboarding and know your business checks

Agents assemble the evidence an onboarding file needs, check it against the sources you accept, and flag what conflicts. The decision stays with your analyst, who now starts from a complete file.

Who this is for. Head of onboarding or client due diligence, financial crime operations lead, and the COO who owns the onboarding time to revenue.

Evidence everywhere, then one onboarding file, then an analyst decides. One line is highlighted for review. A person signs it off.RegistryOwnershipScreeningSIGNEDFile is complete.Evidence everywhereOne onboarding fileAn analyst decides

The problem today

An onboarding file is assembled by hand from registries, customer-supplied documents, screening tools and the web. Each source has its own format and its own quirks, and the analyst spends most of the review gathering rather than assessing.

The business feels it as time to revenue, and the second line feels it as inconsistency: two analysts assemble the same file differently, so the quality of the decision depends on who was on shift.

What we deliver

  • Evidence gathered from the sources you accept

Company registry data, ownership structure, filings and the documents the customer supplied, collected into one file against your own checklist.

  • Ownership structures traced and drawn

Layered structures followed as far as the available records allow, with the points where the trail genuinely stops marked clearly rather than glossed over.

  • Screening results attached in context

Sanctions, politically exposed person and adverse media results recorded against the entity and person they relate to, with the match basis visible so a false positive can be dismissed quickly.

  • Conflicts flagged rather than averaged

Where the registry, the customer's documents and the screening tool disagree, the disagreement is surfaced as the finding. The agent does not pick a winner.

  • A consistent file every time

The same checklist, the same sources, the same structure, so review quality stops depending on which analyst assembled it.

  • Periodic review that reuses the work

At refresh, the agent re-runs the checks and reports what changed since the last file, so a review is a delta rather than a rebuild.

What agents do, and what your team approves

What the agents do

Agents collect the evidence, trace the ownership, attach the screening results, identify conflicts and assemble the file against your checklist.

What they never do

Every onboarding, rejection and risk rating is decided by a named analyst. The agent prepares the file and never makes or records a customer risk decision.

From past work

What we have built

We have built onboarding and verification agents that run inside an institution's own environment, assembling evidence against the institution's checklist with every analyst decision attributed in the trail.

Questions we get

Does the agent make the risk decision?

No, and this is not a line we are willing to blur. The agent assembles evidence and identifies conflicts. A named analyst decides, and the record shows which person decided what on which evidence.

How does this hold up with our regulator?

We cannot speak for your regulator, and we would be wary of anyone who did. What we can say is that nothing here changes your control model: the same checklist is applied, the same analyst decides, and the evidence trail is more complete than a manual file because every source and timestamp is recorded. We build to your existing policy rather than proposing a new one.

What about false positives from screening?

They stay your call, and the agent makes dismissing them fast by showing the match basis alongside the entity data. We do not auto-clear matches.

How much faster does onboarding get?

The gathering time largely goes away and the assessment time does not, so the honest framing is that analyst time moves from collecting to deciding. We measure it on your own files during a pilot rather than quoting a figure from someone else's.
